Billy Pennington

Executive Vice President - Group CIO & Digital Channels, Cayman National Corporation

Billy is a seasoned Banking professional with over 32 years of experience in the financial services industry. His areas of expertise include Retail Banking, Banking Operations, Project Management, Information Technology, Electronic Banking, Card Services, and E-Government.

Previous senior management responsibilities included oversight of teams of varying Banking and Technology professionals focusing on delivery of products, services, and electronic channels with Group oversight of product and project management spread across multiple jurisdictions including Cayman, Bermuda, London and Guernsey.

Prior to his current role at Cayman National, he was appointed as Strategic Advisor to the Cabinet Office to assist the E-Government unit with their Interoperability framework and Electronic ID implementations.

Billy is a past member of Junior Achievement and served on the CI Immigration Appeals Tribunal. In 2025 he was appointed as Vice President of the CI Bankers Association and was subsequently appointed as President in 2026. He also currently serves as a Board Member for Cayman Finance. He joined Cayman National in 2021 and is currently Executive Vice President, Group Chief Information Officer & Digital Channels.
